This is our simple and traditional soap—made right here on the Acorn Ridge Soap Co. homestead!
Great care goes into this cold-process soap, beginning with home-rendered tallow from my personal farm. Our Scottish Highland cattle live happy lives and are 100% grass-fed and finished.
Tallow is the oil of “the days of old”. Not only is it resourceful to use rendered fat, but it’s extremely nourishing to the skin. The tallow makes this soap long-lasting as well as moisturizing.
This is soap like great-grandma used to make: plain and simple, with a fancy charcoal twist.
It contains no parabens, sulfates or cancerous chemicals. A sustainable and nourishing alternative to the many vegetable-oil laden soaps today.
Nothing is worse than a bar of soap that leaves you clean but all dried out. This soap has a creamy lather and is cleansing while moisturizing at the same time.
Size: Rustically hand cut into approximately 4 oz bars
*Each batch is fully saponified and cured for 4-6 weeks. There is no lye left in the final product.
Scent: No added scent - smells like fresh, good old-fashioned farmers market soap!
These soaps are natural, homemade, and hand cut so slight variations between bars may be present and are celebrated!
Handmade in small batches in Montana.
Listing is for one bar.
