Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap Making Kit

This kit contains three options of premeasured ingredients specifically for making 1 to 10 gallons of homemade liquid laundry soap.  Contents pre-measured and include: 1 bag of grated laundry soap, 1 bag of borax & 1 bag of soda ash.  Gather your supplies and some water, and you will have laundry soap made quickly.

Modern laundry detergents are pricey and laden with chemicals (even the clear, so-called 'free' versions).  Here at Acorn Ridge Soap Co., we have been making homemade laundry soap for well over 10 years now and we want to make it easy for you to do the same! This soap is handmade right here on our homestead with organic ingredients and is free of toxic chemicals, synthetic fragrance, and dyes.

The pre-grated bar in the Homemade Laundry Soap Kit is made uniquely for laundry, as the coconut oil provides powerful cleansing properties. While body soap is made with moisturization in mind, our laundry soap purposefully contains very little superfat after saponification—meaning there is very little oil leftover—making it safe to use in your wash machine without fear of buildup.

This is safe for high efficiency washing machines.

To use: A bar is grated up, diluted in water, and combined with soda ash (super washing soda) and borax to create 1 TO 10 GALLONS (depending on the strength you like) of gentle yet powerful nontoxic cleaner. 

Free of toxic chemicals, synthetic fragrance and dyes.

Yield: One kit to make 1 to 10 gallons of liquid laundry soap (depending on the strength you choose)

Ingredients:

• Organic Coconut Oil
• Distilled water
• Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
• Sodium Hydroxide (lye)*
  
• Soda Ash (Super Washing Soda)
• Borax

*Each batch of bar soap is fully saponified and cured for 4-6 weeks.  There is no lye left in the final product.

Scent: Pure Rosemary Essential Oil in the grated soap

These soaps are natural, homemade, and hand grated so slight variations between packages may be present and are celebrated!
